Border Collie is the smartest dog breed on average. Followed by the Poodle and the German Shepard.
Number one smartest breed is the Border Collie, Number two is the Poodle, and number three is the German shepard.
I'm not quite sure, but as you may know, the smarter the more mischievous, (more trouble if you don; t keep them entertained.)
