What dog breed should i get?
I'm hoping to get a friendly dog that will be OK with 2 cats! We live in a green area and our house has space and a fenced garden. We are prepared to take it for walks and train it! We want a medium sized dog! What do you think?!!!!

Adoption is always the best option. For every puppy you buy from a pet store, 2 die in a shelter because they can't find homes.
Mixed breed dogs are less prone to sickness and genetic defects.
A shelter dog costs a fraction of the price of a pet store or breeder dog and most times they are already fixed :)
Hope this helped.
No one here can tell you what breed...it really depends on your level of dog experience, training experience and your activity level. Research some breeds you are interested in, find one that suits your lifetsyle and either find a breeder or adopt from a rescue. Most dogs will be ok with cats if they are raised with them as puppies...I have lots of favorite breeds but they fit my lifestyle and activity level, but maybe not yours.
I think a poodle i love mine it is so god and well train there easy to train!(AND VERY SMART)they tell you when they need to gout and we don't have to walk ours because there Smart enough to go pee poop and come back in.there very playful and nice to my other dogs a cats i never had a problem with them not getting along with another dog.all they want is love and attention and there great lap dogs if that's what your looking for.they have very good sight and smell there very good at sensing .also before some one pulls in the drive way there already barking because they know who it is. ********HiGhLy ReCoMmEd**********

Corgi's are amazing dogs. They are short, but sturdy. They are very friendly and energetic. The one my aunt has gets alone wonderfully with her cat and loves to be the center of attention. He rarely barks unless he hears something unusual. He gets along great with kids as well. Look into them, you might find it is exactly what you are looking for!
"What do I think?" Well, I think you need to do some research on dog breeds. You need to check out the AKC Breeds site & look at the pictures of the dogs & their standards. You can learn a lot more there than anything that can be posted here.

German Shepherds make great family dogs. Labradors as well, but both breeds may be a little bigger than you want.
