my brother in law got over the counter stuff to get rid of the worms ...... but how can we tell for shore she is a right .

My puppy just had 2 different types of worms and the vet had to give him two different pills to kill them both. It depends on the worm and I will tell you what the Tapeworm my puppy had came out in just a few hours after I gave him the pill. You should be able to see the worms in the dogs stool and get an idea of what kind your dog has. The pills at the vet are very cheap anyways so I would go there.

I get my wormer from a Vet. They don't have to see the dog and it is much better than the stuff in stores. I don't think the stuff they sell is worth diddly squat.

the best way is to probably bring he/she to the vet and get tested unles there is another way
