Would this be suitable for travelling with a hamster?

Since I'm probably getting a hamster in a week or two, I grabbed a fairly small, plastic insect tank and put a few layers of shredded tissue paper inside ... would it be a suitable travel cage? It's about 7 inches long, 5-6 inches tall, and 4 inches wide. Oh, and I would have to get a hamster somewhere about half an hour away from here, since we have no pet shops around here. So do you think it would be big enough for one hamster?
It sounds pretty small, but if it's temporary, it should probably be ok. Just so it's not going to be something they stay in for more than short trips.
Yes if it has oxygen holes. Do not get a hamster from a petr shop as they use the rodent farm tarde (google it) get one from a rescue shelter. If ur british I recommend the rspca
Yep, will be fine.:) Good luck getting him.: D
yeah, but please take off that picture you have. That thing is a demon and shall be murdered (justin ******)
