And it's kinda hard to dry the aquarium
Soap and water. Then use a towel to dry it.
I agree with the above answer rats should not live in an aquarium. I have 2 ratties and they live in a 3 story cage with bars for ventilation and they cam climb the bars and jump from level to level. Rats should not live alone either unless you spend ALOT of time with him/her. I have two rats because I work and am going to school online I cannot spend as much time with them as I would like. Do you give your rat paly tiime outside his/her prison?
first of all rats should not be living in an aquarium as they can cause lots of health problems later in life . rats need to have open spaced bars, so they can climb around, and are not trapped and grounded in a little tank.
The aquarium is for gerbils and mice and hamsters. NOT rats.
HOT water and a paper towel will do the trick. Do not use heavy chemicals such as bleach. Dry with 2 paper towels.
EDIT: Yes, he should have a real cage. People tend to get mad at me for saying that, but it's true. Rat cages generally cost about $ 80 +
