Alright, my hamster is a robo hamster and is right now under my oven/cabinets. It's impossible for me to reach under there and I think he's sleeping right now. There's a small horizontal opening about an inch or so tall under the oven which I 've tried to lure him out with food but he just gets scared and runs off into the cabinets where I can't reach him. I set a little trap with peanutbutter and put his cage infront of the opening with a ton of food and plenty of water. He's just not coming out! I think it's been an hour but please help!
Just keep at it. He's sure to come out sooner or later.
I've had a lot of experience catching small animals (especially rats) and all I've done is just stayed up the whole night, waiting for them to come back into their cage or a box.
Good luck, I hope he comes back into his cage soon! Try to keep very still.
I've had this happen before, just set you hamster's favorite food out about 5 feet from the place he is hiding, and you should hide as well, so he thinks its safe to come out and grab the food. Wait for however long you need to, he will get hungry and eventually come out from hiding. You should hide and a place where he is still visible, but your completely doing something else. Hope this helps!=)
keep an eye on the place where he has gone under the oven and lay tin foil around where he could come out. then turn out all lights and wait .....

this worked for my hamster, and it came out within ten minutes. if not, lay out treats and stuff, and wait. if it doesnt work, lay out flour to track its move.
please whatever u do DONT use the oven for now.
go get some boxes and put them in the corners of the kitchen and near the oven (put some bedding and treats in them and wait till night so he will come out!)
also leave some food in the middle of the kitchen floor.
check the boxes every hour or so.

Right now it's alright. How did it escape into your kitchen? Just give it some time later in the night because there nocturnal it WILL come out. Just don't open the cabinets or use the stove for now. Good luck.
You can makescrambled eggs and set it out and stay in your kitchen but make it where your hamster cant see you so he doesnt feel scared and he should come out soon
Wait longer than an hour and try putting some dried fruit. That always works when my gerbils run under the couch.
