Hamster with severe wet tail?

I have a 4 month old albino hamster that overnight has gotten a very severe case of wet tail. I adopted her from petsmart (it's a male only store so we can't sell females) along with her sister. She has always been sickly ( thin, missing fur, etc.) since I got her and I'm worried that she might not recover.

I have her on a mixture of water, pedialyte and dritail right now but she hasn't eaten anything in a few days and is very, very skinny. Is there anything I can get her to eat? She is diabetic so it had to be low is sugar/carbohydrates. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
try looking up things on the internet for instructions of how to treat him/her.

dont take it to the doctors they will be freaked out obvs

to be honest, if the stuff on the internet isnt good enough and it dont get better then take it to the vets.

i imagine that constantly changing the water and food and cleaning her/him out that will help get rid of the wet tail quicker xxxx
Normally, my advice would be to find a vet immediately. Hamsters can succumb to wet tail very quickly, so it's best to see a professional.

I have not had good experience with DriTail, so if you can get to a vet who can give you something like BayTril (normally with a prescription), it would be ideal. They'll have to reduce it based on your hamster's size, but it usually helps.

I would avoid giving your hamster Pedialyte since the sugar in it doesn't usually help diarrhea (it's not really good for humans either). Try to find a water with electrolytes in it and stick to simple foods, like lab blocks (you may need to moisten them and feed them that way). No fresh foods.

I hope your hamster will get better.
Aww I'm sorry to hear about that. You can't take her to a doc
