My rat is limping and dragging both legs behind her when she

I have two rats. One of them is limping and dragging her feet behind her when she walks. She falls when trying to climb and she just won't stop to rest. She just keeps trying and trying to walk and climb and act like her sister but falls and limps and uses her arms to move. I have tried to take out the two levels of stairs in their cage. But Oreo (my sick rat) is still moving and jumping and climbing! Now; they are both pretty old. But please don't say the case is dying because the other isn't acting that way. PLLEAASE HELLPP! Do you know whats wrong with my rat, Oreo ??????!!
Rats hide their pain so just because she does not appear to be in pain it does not mean she is. You need to take her to the vets right away as she must be in a lot of discomfort.
If your rat is still acting very lively, this tends to be a good sign.

If your rat was dying she would more likely be very lethargic.

However, it does sound like she has been injured. In this case I strongly recommend taking your rat to the vet as soon as you can. No advice that anyone can give you on the internet can be as good as advice coming from a professional who has seen/examined your rat in person.

Good luck, I hope Oreo is back to normal soon!
Your rats back legs are parilized so you could take him/her to the vet my hamster has the same thing and he is fine but i wish he didn't have that and take out anything that she can climb on so she won't hert her self and don't worry she won't die i thought that to when i saw that so calm down and it will be ok i promisse
