Every single time I let her out for play time, she plays for awhile. Then she eventually comes to me, perches on my right hand, and pees on me. It's always my * right * hand, and always just a few drops. I understand she is probably just marking her "territory" or leaving fresh scent so she can quick run to me if something scares her. But I don't think anything has ever scared her except maybe people she doesn't know coming around, in which case she just hides. I found this little roof rat as a week-old orphan. If anything, she is spoiled rotten and bold as brass, not scared.
I've tried time-outs. It doesn't work, although it has worked with other behaviors such as chewing the door, carpet, or furniture. It worked to get her to stop stealing the mouse and keys from my laptop. But not with peeing on my * right * hand!
Once I rubbed it on her belly. She just cleaned herself up without comment and did it again next chance she got! And I felt like an old meanie.
I hope someone can help. I really don't like being peed on, even if it's a high compliment to her. Rattie kisses, yes. Urine - no, thanks.

That's so funny. My female does the same thing to me but when she sniffs the spot where she marked she will give me a look like "ew you have pee on you." There is nothing you can do about but wash your hands after playing with her. If shes potty trained, meaning she only goes in her cage, then you can be sure its just marking. My rat is potty trained and sometimes she drips when she has to go to the bathroom. If your rat has red or ruby eyes then she can just be making a trail since she cant see so well. Rats mark for a few reasons. 1) she could be trying to attract males for mating 2) marking you as her human 3) she could have a bladder infection but since its in the same hand every time that's not likely. My mom owns a male that's very blind and he marks everywhere. Its very gross because after 10 mins of holding him you're dripping pee. We found out that he does it because he cant see at all in the house but outside its brighter so he can see and doesn't mark at all.
I know its not much help but theres nothing you can do other than not play with her anymore.

Good luck
There's nothing you can do about it. Rat's and mice have this malfunction in their bodies where they can't control your urine output. They'll pee at random because they can't control it
Come on , admit it. You like Golden Showers.
