I bort my hammy home 2 days ago. Very alert and curious. Played in.wheel and seemed to enjoy exploring in cage. However I noticed it has been sleeping a lot ... I checked it today as I can't hold her as she not tame yet but around her tail is wet .... no smell or diohea ... any suggestions? I taking her bk to store tomorrow to demand.answers
I had a hanster conveniently named Hammy and he "suffered" ; from this to. The solution to this is to feed he/she less green vegetables.
Ok it is wet tail indeed, you need to act upon this as soon as possible, go to your local pet shop an ask them to sell you a product that specialises in wet tail, you can read the directions and treat it! What I used to do was, I used to put 1 ml of wet tail liquid in the hamsters water bottle and as they would drink it, they would heal! So basically it's medicine that you can put in your hamsters water!
