I got home from school today and it loosk that every time my guinea pigs heart beats, he squeeks quietly but it's as if he's in pain.
Over the past couple days, he hasn't been as itnerested in eating but still ate some and was taken out for floor time 3 times a day.
He is only 2 years old.
What could this be?
Seriously don't wait for an appointment, just take him down there and say he's likely to be dying, then they'll help him. We've had this about my guinea pig once, " oh we've got no space "So we get down there and we tell them and they're soon taking it in and helping the little thing, this happened with my aunties dog and one of my guinea pigs. Don't take their crap , stand your ground and he'll get seen, i promise.
It don't sound very good, hold him, keep him warm and dip your finger in water and try and get him to lick it off. Also cucumber is good because its food and provides water.

As soon as a guinea pig displays any of this behaviour you have an emergency on your hands. You need to get him to the vet immediately. Guinea pigs will always try to hide any health problems by eating so this is not an indication that all is well. Take your little one as soon as possible before he gets much worse.
