Hi Yahoo Answers!
I was considering getting 2 fancy bear hamsters (both males) and they would live in a 10 gallon tank ... Anyways, that's not my question. My question is, can hamsters live in Carefresh bedding (like what bunnies have sometimes) or do they need that "wood like" bedding.
Here is a picture. Can hamsters live nicely in it or do they HAVE to have a specific bedding?

ugh! This is so anoying! Its not a teddy bear hamster, OR a fancy bear hamster! Its a SYRIAN hamster!!!!
YES, you can use that bedding

NO you cannot house two SYRIAN (or 'fancy bear hamsters') in the same cage THEY WILL KILL EACH OTHER!
and secondly 10 gallon is way too small.

yes! the question about the bedding, actually its best for them and the wood shavings are actually bad for them and can give them breathing problems
Yes all carefresh products are good it is the number one brand other brands usually give hamsters breathing problems
