my female rat ate 5 pills of my avaine birth control, yes i have reported her to the vet and she said it was to late to give her charcole seen has it has been like 24 + hours but also said that as long as she is eating and drinking. im still a little nervous though i want to know if she will be ok? or even if how long befor i can think for sure she is ok? what can i do to help her through it incase she dosnt feel ok? she seems fine other then the fact shes sleepy but that could be normal and me over reacting and looking to far into it.

Rat have incredibly quick metabolisms, They eat a lot and it passes through their whole system quickly. If your pill incident is more than 24 hours ago, and your vet did not seem alarmed your are certainly fine, most of pill's contents have been totally passed. Obviously she has ingested and absorbed a variety of hormones intended for you. However most of our drugs have already been tested on rodents, primarily rats. Your rat will be fine.

if she starts to feel unwell and you're sure it could be from the pill then take her back to the vet to see if they can do anything
but as long as she eats and drinks she's fine=)
