She fell out of the cage or my 12 yr old sister dropped her and it started bleeding from the mouth so she put it in its cage and my dad said leave it alone and watch its Laying down on all fours slash standing a little and its starting to move but it looks like shes panting no visible injuries but I think its bleeding internally or got the wind knocked out of it.What should we DO !?!?!?
It needs to go to the vet immediately. It sounds like dropping it was an accident, but leaving it to suffer in its cage while bleeding out of the mouth is not humane. If the blood is just from a cut lip or something minor like that, then the vets isn't as necessary, but if it is in pain then it needs to be seen by a vet ASAP.
I would wait until tomorrow and see what happens, I had that same problem with my rat, It was in its rat ball, and it rolled down the stairs by accident, the same problem happened, the next day it went away and she was fine. And she continued to live on until dying at the age of 5 years old. (this rat went through a lot, including a heat stroke and a heart attack) If this problem persists. Take your rat to the vet IMMEDIATELY!!
Take it to the ER vet. I find they charge less than the fancy vets that are ussually just for vaccinations. It should be 20 bucks.
