My bunny look like a little lion. What breed is she?

My family has moved to Germany and we purchased another baby (we have a Boxer) and she is the CUTEST bunny I've ever seen! I want to let her just run free but instead we purchased a litter box, cage, all the essentials and a bunny leash. Don't laugh. She needs exercise.

My problem is that I am not sure what sort of bunny she is? I speak very little German but I am trying very hard (Rosetta Stone) but the associate told me a Teddy Bunny. Well, there is no such thing. I need to know what breed she is so I can give her the best possible life. Also, what shots and check-ups do rabbits need annually? She will be on a leash so I am guessing she will definitely need shots.

She looks like a cross between a Guinea pig and a rabbit. Too cute!

Thank you!

She is either part or ALL lion head. Good luck!=P
She is a Loinhead bunny
Your link did not work when I clicked on it but she sounds like a lionhead bunny. Why did you buy a cage? Your bunny can live happily as a house rabbit and be litter trained just like a cat can be. That would be the way of giving her the best life as she would have all the freedom she needs. Bunnies need to run, jump and stand and being in a cage does not allow them to do that. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

She will need a myxamatosis injection. Rabbits do often pick up things so from time to time she may need various shots for things like getting a parasite. You need to cut rabbits nails. You may want to get that done at the vets for the first time as it is difficult.

Make sure you feed your rabbit an unlimited supply of Timothy hay and water. She will need nuggets which are a complete food. Never feed her any of the mix cereals as they are useless.

Good luck with your little one!
