yesterday i noticed that my rabbit's fur was falling off and that it was getting older like it felt old and not silky. my other rabbit's fur is not falling but is this a good thing?
Could be parasites, such as mites, or it could be a fungal infection, or it could be a hormone problem. Take your rabbit to the vet for a professional diagnosis and the appropriate treatment.

my rabbit reba died of abnormal fur loss, i had her for almost 3 years.
i would suggest feed your rabbit lots of rabbit food like the store kind, feed your rabbit solid food like tortillas. dont just feed your rabbit vegetables they need solids i learned that the hard way. FEED your rabbit WATER and plenty of it, give them milk once in a while. Dont let your rabbits walk around in their urine for a long period of time, let them out of their cage once in a while and give them some love.
rabbits do lose their hair as they malt. I am surprised you say the new hair feels old and not soft though. Make sure you brush your rabbits fur regularly to keep it in good condition.
