Gerbils chewing their water bottle, pissing me off.?

Ok so i have two female gerbils and they constantly bite their water bottle .. every week they need a new one and it's pissing me off now -.-

They are always biting holes in them and so they end up with nothing to drink from and i have to go to the store at least once a week just for a damn water bottle, they are in a large glass tank and so i have to use the bottles with the suction cups but they just chew them, despite how many other chewable objects i give them.

Is there anything i can do to make them stop?!
Like Kate says, get a bottle with a holder. I own a plastic bottle but it hangs over my tank with a metal bendable hook, cost only a couple bucks or so . If not, create something. Find leftover tools of some kind in our house and construct a sort of hook that will hold the bottle a few inches over the tank, but within fair reach so they can drink. They say you can train gerbils, but I find that hard to believe, especially when it comes to chewing and scratching. If you look online, I know you can find a good bottle with a holder to attach to your tank. Petlanddiscounts has a few good ones on their site and I Know other stores do to. In fact, where ever you buy your water bottles now should have them. Have you even tried mentioning this to them? They should easily be able to help ...
You can try getting a metal holder . You bend the top part so it goes over the edge of the tank. Put the water bottle in (they come in different sizes) and your gerbils should not be able to chew the bottle. http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.js ...

You can also use a pop can to make a bottle guard. Clean and cut it then shape it so that it fits over the bottle. You may need to tape it or make a holder so it stays on. This is cheap and easy to replace .
They make glass water bottles:) Our PetSmart sells them!
