New guinea pig help please!?

We bought a male piggy, he is 3 months old and was in a tank with another piggy. Now 4 days later we thought we would get him a friend because he seemed lonely. We have another piggy but I have him in a different cage because when we put them together g6 (the 1st guinea) goes over to panda (2nd pig) and humps him .... the front and back or him. Chasing him around and hitting him with his head, chasing him around and smelling/licking his rear end. They are BOTH boys. We tried putting food inside the playpen with them and panda would go get a carrot and g6 would take the carrot from him when there was 2 in there. What should I do? How long does this last ? Should I put them in the same cage together? Or bring panda back? Please Help!!!
This is very normal behavior, the hamper is just showing he is the boss of the cage and it is clear guinea pig talk. This all mostly passes in a few days as every one falls into place so you have nothing to worry about unless they start to fight and draw blood. If that were to happen you would then want to separate them at once.It actually sounds as though these guys are going to get along quite will.Enjoy your guinea pigs.
Usually what I do for any pair of animals I have, I break the food in half or give each animal 1 of the same thing. You can't really give one a treat and not the other or they'll get jealous and fight.
Guinea pigs should always be kept in pairs or groups (same sex or altered) indoors, in a cage with at least 7.5sq ft (10sq ft for males) on one level and daily floor time/handling, to be happy and healthy.

They should have unlimited access to fresh water (no Vit C drops) and grass hay available at all times, 1/8-1/4 cup of plain guinea pig pellets (no coloured bits, nuts, seeds, or dried veggies) and 1 cup of fresh veggies per pig daily.

It's normal dominance behavior. It's annoying as hell but its just what they do. Eventually they will make a hierarchy and calm down a bit. As long as they aren't fighting like to hurt or kill don't separate them. I mean bloodshed when I say that. Also how large is the cage? It may progress to fighting if they don't have enough space. Two boys will need a 10.5sq ft cage at LEAST. The best cages are C & C cages, made of cubes and coroplast. This is a great site for making them, http://www.guineapigcages.com/. You can use extra cubes to make a pen to take them out to eat grass in, only in the warm months, and in the evening, around sunset.

As long as you have:

2 or 3 hideys

2 bowls

2 water bottles

10.5sq ft cage

Then its just dominance and will eventually pass or at least calm down.
