Has your rat ever had Reproductive Problems/Cancer? How did

Well, my rat wasn't doing great. We took her to the vet who said she had Parasites, Kidney Tract Infection, or what I mentioned above.

The medicine was supposed to clear them up. Her poop was still strange (not a side affect).

The vet said she has a couple more weeks. That was a month ago. How do I know when to put her to sleep?
When quality of life is in question it is time, and you will know it. If your little girl is still getting up to eat, enjoying her food and taking in fluids then that time its not time. If she is not communicating pain in noises, barbering or teeth grinding and if she still enjoys her favorite things; time out of the cage, your company, and her treats then she is not ready yet. When these things are no longer true you should choose to offer her a gentle death and not prolong suffering. I am sorry for you are losing a sweet little friend.
Tough question to answer. For us it comes down if they are in pain, is there anything reasonable that we can do, what is their quality of life, and what is the expected outcome. There is no absolutely right answer here. It is one of the most difficult decisions to make when caring for animals.
If she is not in pain i would not put her to sleep. One of my rats when he died completly swelled up and died the next day, he looked like a gerbal or a guine pig when he died. Idk about this one but i hope that she will be ok6
