Guinea pig and hamster question?

Do guinea pigs and hamsters get along? K thanks.
You can not put guinea pig and hamsters together for many reasons the main one being food needs that are so very different. If they guinea pig started to eat the hamster food which it would it would suffer malnutrition quickly.Hamster have a tendency to be very bitie and there is a chance it would chew the heck out of a guinea pig.
No! Never put these two animals together! They could hurt each other, and it's not good to mix any species of small animals. Their diet is also nothing alike. Just don't! Here's a guiniea pig forum if you have any questions! http://wheekers.proboards.com/index.cgi

Edit-I just read some of the answers! Never put a guinea pig and rabbit together either! The bunny could accidently kick the pig and kill it! Plus their diets are different!
No, I have a guinea pig and everything that I read when I was researching the species before I bought him, said you should never put guinea pigs and hamsters together but I don't have personal experience with the interaction between the two.
I don't think so. Many hamsters aren't social animals and they live alone, not in a swarm, in the nature.
No if anything hamsters will be frightend of it or try to fight it. you should get a bunny for your guinea pig:) Goodluck
No they do not, dont put them together 1 could die sorry x
