i want it to be one level
it cant have any tubes because my hammy will get stuck in them
i dont want it to be a boring wire cage but if thats whats best then i guess i should,

If you don't want a wire cage then try a tank (without water). 20 gallons would be about right, sometimes Petco has a $ 1 per gallon tank sale. If it's not on sale it's still probably not much. Also I don't know if you have heard of bin cages they're pretty good check them out:
