Is it necessary to get a hamster ball?

I dont have one and ive had my hamster for a month, should i get one? Do i have to?
No it's not. But really you should get one they're only like $ 8. They let your hamster roam freely around the house, which gives her exercise and makes her happy. Also it's really useful when you clean out her cage cause where else are you gonna out her that's safe? So your hamster will still live without one but it's highly recommended that you get one, makes it easier on you and the hamster is happier.
You do not have to get a hamster ball. This is if you would like to let your hamster roam freely around the house without having to hamster-proof everything. I would recommend it, because I once let my hamster walk around, and he got into a pipe and we had to saw open the wall to get him out, so I would think you should.
I have one for my mice, and I use it when I am cleaning out their cage. It's nice because they don't have to be crammed into the tiny travel cage.

Also, if you do choose to get a ball, remember it's a smoother ride for your hamster if the ball is a bit oversized.
No. But make sure he has a wheel so he can excersize. If you do get a ball any size is great but if you have a dwarf hamster make sure you get the smallest one or he can get back problems.
Yes, it is I have a hamster myself a Robo Dwarf hamster and all hamsters need a ball for moving around , but all balls come in different sizes small for Dwarf Medium for big hamsters and of course extra large which you probably don't need.=)
It isn't a necessity, but it's really entertaining to watch a hamster run around in one of those things, and I know my hamster used to love it-it let's them explore and get some exercise plus time away from their cage.
You don't have to, but it's good exercise for the hamster and it's a chance to be out of the cage for a while. It's hilarious watching them run in the ball though.
If you think you're hamster is bored, it could be a good idea. But if it has a wheel, that's a lot nicer than a big ball that's hard to breathe in.
I would suggest one cause they like to stretch their legs once and a while and it's nice not having to have someone hold them while you clean their cage out. They are really cheap.
you don't have to but they are fun and convenient for putting the hamster down while you clean the cage.
You probably don't "have" too .. but I'm sure the hamster would enjoy having one.
no, but make sure the hamster gets some exercise
i dont know
