Should i stop my hamster from drinking it's pee?
I just found out my Campbells Russian Dwarf hamster is diabetic, and i found that it's normal that they're attracted to the sugary smell of their pee (since their body can't absorb it).
Just wondering if I should let the poor guy? or if it's bad for him?
i would probably allow this for a while, then see if he drinks my pee.
No many people know this but pee is clean. Its just like water. So it can't hurt him. And yes this is a fact.
I'm assuming you provide water for him to drink.
i just found my russian dwarfhamaster.i found that is a normal. they are a attracted to the sugarery of their . so it is a not bad for him
As the person a couple of answers above my one said, their pee is clean so you can let your Campbells Russian Dwarf Hamster drink it.
good god..firstly,pee is not clean..ask your family doctor and stop beleiving everything you read ,especially on the net.pee is not clean.you're urinating waste from your system.it;s called waste for a reason. if you kids are believeing pee is clean, you'd better ask your school teacher as well as your parents.watch their faces as you tell them that it's okay to drink pee.it's not..also,i wouldn't let your pet drink it's own pee anymore than you should drink YOUR own pee.
