Need other materials for guinea pig maze?
I really want to build a guinea pig maze for two reasons: to exercise it and for a science fair project but the only thing is, is there anything else to make it out of besides wood and cardboard?!
Try a plywood base, maybe even 4-6 bases, so you can set up a bigger maze and break it down to transport it more easily. You can take 2 and 3 litre plastic soda bottles, cut off the ends(be sure to poke some ventilation holes in them) and arrange them on the plywood with a sturdy glue. Leave the bottom on a few of them to create dead ends. If you want, you could even just dispense with the plywood, just use the bottles, so you can rearrange them to make different mazes. to connect them, just use a few short strips of scotch tape or masking tape, which can be replaced easily if you rearrange the bottles. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
You know what? THANK YOU! I've been racking my brains trying to think of a fun, yet space saving project for my rats, and for the life of me, I couldn't think of anything. Apparently I need to think of it for someone else, first LOL
:D
Have fun!

I have no idea what dark, cobwebby corner of my brain this came from, seriously...
