help? is it infected of tetnes?

Well they don't inject venom that I know. My hamster has bit me a few times and it has been no problem, in fact it didn't hurt much either.

A few years ago, I was feeding my baby sister a cookie and she bit the end of my finger. She hit a few nerves in my finger and it hurt lots. I haven't felt the end of my finger since.

This is pretty common but if they just damage the nerves, it will feel numb a little bit.

He probably hit a nerve. It's most likely infected and I would go to the doctor as soon as passable for penicillin. My cat bit me before when I gave him a bath and my whole arm went numb. I went to the doctor and they said he hit a nerve and I got penicillin. It was good the next day. They said if I didn't go in I could of lost feeling for good. I never had it happen with my hamsters though, but I would still go to the doctor if I were you just in case and see what they say.

I suggest you go to the doctor just in case you have an infection. If you have never had a tentus injection, then it is important that you do. Don't ignore any symptoms.

Your hamster might have just hit a nerve so its numb but I would go to your doctor just incase it is infected...

Ouch:/ Go see the doctor very soon. There is a 120% chance that you will need a tetanus shot expecally if its numb.
