i have two pet rats and i'm getting a ferret nation cage for them but it wont fit in my house. so can i put them outside? they will have heaps of hammocks warm stuff and i will get them a heat bag for them on cold nights? if not why?

Get a smaller cage so you can fit them in your house. Outside it can be cold and wet, and there are bugs, and lots of things that can scare them. They will most likely get sick from living outside. Wild rats have very short lifespans, only a couple of months, why would you want to do that to your pets.

My God no, those animals were born and raised in side and will die if put outside in the cold..If the cage is to big get a smaller one or find a new home for these poor animals.

If you don't have room for your rats why did you even buy a rat.Either get a new cage don't even try to put them outside they'll freeze to death.
