My guinea pig is sick. What should I do?
My geuinea pig is a year old and has always been extremely healthy. He ate a lot and he was always soft and he was very strong. Lately he has been sneezing a lot, he doesn't like being picked up anymore, he looks weak and dull all the time and he breathes really loudly. I really love my guenia pig a lot and i would die if anything happened to him! He hasn't been eating a lot and he has been drinking a lot more then he used to. I don't know why. Please Help. I want to make sure that he gets better
Hun, I'm stumped. Maybe you should call a vet? I've never seen any of this happen to my Guinea Pig.
This happened to my guinea pig, too. They are susceptible to colds from humans (which is what happened to mine) I gave my pig some orange peels so he would get Vitamin C, there are also Vitamin drops you can get at pet supply stores. I only gave mine the peels and he was better in 3 or 4 days. Hopefully that helps!

Owner of a cute little piggy! : )
Sounds like an upper respiratory infection. I would say take the piggy to the vet ASAP. They should give you an antibiotic that you feed him OR they might have you use a nebulizer or however u spell it. It cost me about 30 bucks to take my pet rat to the vet when she was sick. Then about 20 or 30 dollars for the antibiotic. Hope this helps a little
Your guinea pig has an upper respiratory infection and with our exotic vet intervention it will die very soon. I fean it may have already gone into pneumonia so please get it to an exotic vet asap.
