Okay so about almost a week ago I got two male guinea pigs. We were putting in their playpen. So to get them out their cage I had to lift them in. When I put them in their playpen I picked one of them up. I feel like I wasn't holidinf him right as his legs and nearly all of his body was wriggilng loads and he was close from coming out of my hands. I was holing his bum and his top half. What should I do????

Like I answered when you asked this same exact question a few minutes ago.. he is probably nervous. Try petting, and bonding with him before lifting him.

im pretty sure ur holding him the right way just try to feed him treats and pat him and stuff to make him stop being so nervous or he isnt the 'hugging/holding' type and just doesnt like it.

You are on the right track, you do want to have one hand on the bum and one under the rib cage. You want to get them next to you as soon as possible as they do not like to be out in the air floating around, it frightens them.
