only if you have the airlines permission
Many airlines don't allow small rodents. It is hard to have a suitable carrier that is also airline safe and the species allowed in cabin is limited.
You could call the airline and ask, but don't be surprised if they say no.
You can only bring your gerbil on the plane if you have the airlines permission.
Have to ask because it varies =)
