Okay,
So I used to have two female rats and I wasn't very happy with their diet. It just didn't seem right.
I know that I should give them additional treats every now and then/every other day, and I've heard a lot about lab blocks.

But, if you guys could just tell me the healthiest//best diet for two male rats, good snack time foods, and refresh my memory on what to avoid,
I'd love you. :D

The best diet would be one mainly of lab blocks, but supplemented with fruits, veggies, and other things as snacks. About 70-80% of their diet should be the lab blocks, with fresh fruits, vegetables, meat or grains as snacks.

Harlan Teklad 2014 formula lab blocks, veggies every day or at least twice a week, somtimes plain pasta or rice, sometimes fruit. My rats like yogurt drops and dried fruit as treats.

Don't use rat food! they wont eat it if its boring. Use a hamster food mix. One that has:dryed fruit and lots of grain.A good treat is yogurt drops,bits of lunch meet,veggies. Do not give them raisins Chocolate or caffeine.Trust me I had the same problem. good luck!!!
