there both males and there full grown but they keep sneezing can any one tell my why and if there sick how can i make them better
If you just brought them home it could be stress and you just need to let them calm down a day. Make sure their bedding isnt wood shavings or anythign since that causes respatory infections. If the sneezing continues you should contact a vet.
My rats do it all the time.But mainly my babies cause they getting used to things.
i take it there not new cause some new rats sneeze alot due to getting used to their new environment.
Do they get blood in their nose when they sneeze if so it could be signs of a respiratory infection and if you start to hear a rattling in their chest.
i would see a vet if so cause can be fatal.
Or it may be something in the cage that there sensitive towards.
Also have you had a cold lately you can pass your cold onto your pet rats.
Just keep a eye on them and look for these signs.
I heard if you allow them to breath in steam it can help.:)
Theres this infection called mycoplasma. Its not curable but its treatable, a lot of vets dont know much about rats so some vets may miss the signs.

my rats have it, they started sneezing and then eventually they started sneezing out this red stuff that looks like blood but it isnt blood. they are permanently on antibiotics and its managed quit easily, take them to a vet that knows a lot about rats otherwise they will die if they have mycoplasma

it might just turn out to be nothing, but if i was you i would get it checked out by a vet who knows something about rats. better safe then sorry
Upper respiratory issue perhaps. Take them to the Vet have it checked. :)
