well i was wondering wich should i get because i'm getting a hamster
in Saturday and i don't now wich one is better girl hamsters or boy hamsters
I Recommend getting a females, but females can be stinky.
They scent alot-especially around the time that they're in heat.
females can be aggresive. But once tame are just as equal as a male.
females are neater.
Be careful getting from a pet store as often they can be pregnant least with a male you wont get any unexpected litters.Some people get put of my owning a male cause of their balls lol
My advice - adopt the healthiest, most active hamster you can. Even if you had a wonderful experience with your departed friend, you will probably have a wonderful experience with your new hamster, regardless of their sex. Good luck!!
It doesn't really matter if you get male or female. I've heard that females smell more, but I have a female and she doesn't smell at all. Males seem to be a little more gentle but also more fragile. But the best way to choose is to get a turn at holding a few of the hamsters at the pet store and whichever one isn't hyper or angry or anything would be the best choice. And if you're getting a Syrian hamster, get a short -haired because they are cleaner and less smelly.
In hamsters, gender doesn't really matter. It doesn't really affect their personalities or how you care for them. I suggest going to the pet store and ask to see different ones from both genders. What you want to look for is one that doesn't scream, swat, or bite when someone tries to pick it up.

I would say male, but its up to you, it just seems that most people find them harder to tame and also if its a syrian hamster your getting the females smell when they come into heat.

Girl Hamsters are great for a good fvck!

I prefer a girl im not saying males are bad im a male anyway but get a female beacause male hamster give away a terrible stench and females just smell i little better
