its a fluorescent tube or what type of light can i use because there in my room and my room is dark i cant put them no where because of my sisters cat
Any sort of light is fine for them. However, if you intend to breed them, they type of light might affect how many boys/girls are in the litters. I don't know if it's true for rats, but for mice, florescent lights cause 70% boys and 30% girls, natural light gives 50/50, and incandescent causes 30% boys and 70% girls. Like I said, I know that's for mice, not rats, but it might affect rats as well, if you intend to breed them.
