My rat started bleeding on Tues, Sunday morning finally the first baby was born but dead then every few hours she had another. In the end she had 4 and all were dead. I don't understand what could of went wrong. The first baby was full grown. Does anyone know why her whole litter would be dead? Also I am worried there might still be more inside of her, but I think she is tired and is just resting before pushing more out.
She shoulda had all the babies within bout 2 hours or it means there was a problem.
Did she have a safe place to give birth some times they refuse to push if dont feel comfy enough to give birth.
The day she had a bit of blood must have been the start of the labour and if no babies had shown within a hour you should of took her to the vet. Sometimes babies can get stuck and then suffocate and then block the others from being born suffocating them also.

DON "T BREED HER ANYMORE! It could be a problem with her health. Do not breed her anymore for if you do it could cause problems to rats that are born , or to her. Make sure she gets all of the babies inside of her out. Then after that make sure she is healthy. Examine her, make sure she's eating, sleeping, playing, exercising, socializing with humans and her rat friends. Hope she gets well soon. Good luck!
