I just got her this weekend and im planning to get her a buddy on saturday when i get a bigger cage.
At the moment I'm trying to get her used to be by taking the top of her cage of an sitting with her, but every time i get close she hides and wags her tail.
Why is she doing this?
Tail wagging, there are a few different reasons why a rat will wag their tail. Some rats do it when they are happy or excited, some do it, like a snake, to warn ppl that they do not like then being in their territory, others do it as a habit, like when someone plays with their hair.
