PLEASE HELP ME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey hey .... Don't worry, First get a new bottle to stop the leaking.

Where gloves when you go into the cage, so there don't hurt you.

But guinea pigs have leaders and so they do fight. But if they get to mad separate them!

Handle them more with the gloves so they get used to you being around.

Hope this helps!
They squeal so much because they are thirsty. They may also be hungry. They should have unlimited hay, 1-2 TBS of pellets daily per guinea pig, and 1 cup of leafy greens daily per guinea pig. Just introduce all new foods slowly. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

They bite because they are too excited about getting their water they accidentally bite you. Also, if they're too hungry they will bite you.

And they most likely will not jump out of their cage.

You can email me at 09-hope@att.net
For only $ 6.00 you can get the kink of bottle that fits on the out side to the cage so you will not have the problem of them biting you, They are just excited about the water coming is all that is going on there i am sure.

I leave the door of my guinea pigs cage open so they can come in and out as the please, however, they never seem to come out, they are happy in their cage.
Until you can get two water bottles (his and hers) you could try putting a water bowl in, make it flat and broad so it doesn't tip over and they can both drink from it.

Also check the guinea lynx website for useful hints and tips on guinea pig care:

FIRST THING CALM DOWN! My guinea pigs do a lot of that except biting .. You should try and tame them then they won't bite you as often. Maybe separate your male and female to 2 different cages but put them next to each other. Could this website help? http://jackiesguineapiggies.com/piggycare.html

Hope this helped,

They sound super thirsty! Put a little bowl below the water bottle so the water doesn't go to waste. They shouldn't get too thirsty anymore. Also try to buy another water bottle and if it leaks, return it and keep trying new ones until you find one that doesn't leak. I'd also buy two so they don't fight over it.

Hope this helps!!
What did u do? They are very docile creatures?
Leaking bottles cause 2 problems 1) lack of water and 2) wet cages both of which are not good. Wal Mart has 32 oz bottles for $ 3.89 in our area so for less than a $ 10 bill you can solve the leaking bottle problem and add a second bottle to reduce competition.

Your pigs are agitated by being out of water. There is always some competition between pigs which is usually kept to manageable levels by display behavior and normal social interactions. Aggression goes WAY up when you have something they need in limiting supply. Because he is thirsty , your boar will do anything to get his share (or more) of the water and that includes fighting off the sow and biting you. As he sees it, you are taking his bottle from him. He doesn't know that you are doing it to fill it, just that it is going away. Having 2 bottles to have 2 watering stations will both reduce competition and help insure that they are never out of water. It wouldn't hurt to put in a second hay rack and food bowl as well. We free feed (make unlimited food available at all times) pellets and hay and don't have a weight problem in our herd. Our animals are big but not fat and are not aggressive due to hunger.

You also want to work on a socialization program. Use gloves or a towel to take the animals out of the cage if they don't calm down enough to do it bare handed once they have enough food and water. Put them on a towel in your lap and feed them treats that you know they enjoy like greens. They learn from this that getting taken out of the cage and being handled by humans is a good thing. Guinea pigs are greedy little tykes and very food oriented so the positive reinforcement works well. Negative reinforcement only increases aggression so do not do things like blowing on them or tapping their nose when they misbehave because it will only produce exactly the opposite of the result you want!
Sounds like you are a bit high strung. Simple solution go to the petstore and buy two new 16oz water bottles for about $ 4 each. The blue superpet ones are good for guinea pigs, http://www.google.com/products/catalog?h ...
