Baby Mouse in Jeopardy, Please Help!?

Baby Mouse in Jeopardy, Please Help!?

Today, I found a baby mouse walking in my basement. He is 10-14 days (eyes open and the babies will become increasingly mobile and begin experimenting with solid foods) and currently in a container lined with tissues. My parents were going to let him outside or in a field, but I think he will not survive as it is very cold and he has no where to go. I want to keep him as a pet, but have a few concerns:

1) What does he eat/drink?

2) What kind of home should he be made?

3) What kind of temperature room should he be in?

4) What does it mean if he stays in one spot and doesn't move?

If there are any other tips/suggestions please list them, as I am in need of lots of help:)

Thanks!
Ok first off it probably sits in the corner and doesn't move because it is in shock orr sick because it should still be with its mom till its four weeks old .. but you can give it some regular mouse food but i think at such a young age it will be to hard for it to chew. so maybe some cheese or fruits and vega's like grapes carrots lettuce cucumbers strawberry's blueberry's and stuff like that. and give it a water bottle for it to drink out of the animal kind of course and just make sure its low enough to the ground. keep it in a fish tank a 10 gallon is the best size and just keep a lid on it. temperature really doesn't matter i would say under 75-80 Farenheit and no lower than 50. basically just treat it like a pet mouse. sense its so young tho i dont no if it can make it without is mom .. i wsh you the best of luck tho
keeping wild animals is actually illegal so even as sad as it is you have to let him go he will be fine as the out doors is his natural habitat he will find somewhere warm and he will survive as his natural instincts will kick in and he will scavenge for food all though you may find that he stays close to your back garden so throw some nuts and seeds out side for him but please do not keep him as it is against the law to keep wildlife trust me i have been through this situation when my cat brought in a baby mouse we were aloud to keep it long enough to rehabilitate it then it had to go back into the wild
