my rats nibble my fingers, what does that mean?

they are 4 weeks old. they will usually lick my fingers, then nibble them. it doesnt hurt.
Rats that age can be curious or playing. They can also be showing affection, since rats of all ages groom each other as a sign of acceptance & affection.
Nothing to worry about, my rats do it all the time, Often it's after i have been doing things around the house, outside, or playing with the other pets, i guess it's smelling where you have been, (if outside) The licking of the fingers could be them just wanting to taste the outside, and nibbline (very cute) don't really know what that means. as long as they are not biting, it is perfectly normal. Good luck.: P
Rats tend to lick and/or nibble lightly to show they trust you and they just might enjoy the taste of your finger:) Rats are also groomers and like to clean themselves quite often and will do the same for their caring owners. It's very normal and natural for them to do this so just embrace the licks ... they are doing it because they trust you.
Its a way of showing affection towards you.

Mine do it all the time cause they trust me and even groom my nails.

Well just be thankful they love you cause rats so young aint usually so trusting.:)
They're tasting you, when I got my rats one of them did that to all my fingers touching lightly along them. I think its a way for them to socialize with you and get to know you, like grooming.
They just are trying to see what your fingers are, that's all. Also if you provoke them they will bite you on purpose.
They are rats.

Thats what rats do.
They find you tasty?
