I want to be more in the life of my guinea pigs, any ideas. My main goal is to see them popcorn, as they have never done it before. I have 2 females in a wide cage. Any toy, cage, social, ideas are accepted. Thanks (:
What's your bedding and cage? Do they have a C & C cage?
http://guineapigcages.com My pigs popcorn every time I put them in after I clean it! They also love fleece bedding, it's easy on their feet and when it's fresh out of the dryer it's really warm, it's their favorite and a lot of pigs popcorn right away.
Edit: Get them off the cedar right away! Cedar has toxic fumes, and causes serious URI's.

http://s189.photobucket .com/albums/z307/... A lot of making a cage is creativity. You can order them, or you can make them. Instead of coroplast, you can use linoleum like I did. Cheap and just as effective. Hay bins? dollar store baskets. Hides? Dollar store stackable bins. Blankets? Rummage sales.

Double edit: What type of pine? If it's kiln dried, you're fine. Zip ties are cheaper and stronger then the connectors, you can use just zip ties. 2 packs from the dollar store built the whole cage: 3
As someone else suggested, try switching to fleece bedding. Guinea pigs love how soft is it, and it's reusable and decorates your cage, you can choose any color and pattern you want!

Another thing pigs really like are tunnels, PVC pipes are good tunnel makers, besides ones you can buy from pet stores. I have not got any tunnels for my pigs yet, but I have heard from others they love them.
They don't really need any other toys, they mostly love to just run around. Give the plenty of time outside their cage to explore new places and to spend time with you. I let my pigs run around on my bed for outside cage time , and they love to run around under my comforter. Or sometimes I'll take them outside and let them eat grass.

One more thing to consider with making them happier is maybe they need a bigger cage. Two females need at least 7.5 sq feet. Here's a site for more info on good cage sizes:

My guinea pigs have a big blanket that they LOVE to lay on and every time i shake it off they run all over it and popcorn!!.
