Help!!! My dwarf hamster is chewing her cage!?

My dwarf Hamster, India, is chewing the metal bars on her cage! She is also climbing them and falling down, which really concerns me. She has the Imac Fantasy cage and has only recently started to do this! She runs around in her ball every night and gets plenty of cuddles so not sure whats up. Should I replace her cage with a plastic one??
Before you go to the trouble of replacing her cage, get some wood chew blocks and other shreddable toys from a pet store. Hamsters' teeth grow constantly, so it's important to have something for them to chew on so that they can dull their teeth.

If you do replace her cage, I would suggest an aquarium. You can't go wrong with them. They're almost inescapable, and there are no bars to chew! If you get one, you might want to invest in a hamster potty (or a jam jar will do just fine, I use those) so that you can keep the ammonia smell out of the cage. I like aquariums because there isn't as much danger of them getting unhealthy drafts or smells in their cage, just as long as you keep it clean enough.
maybe you should drop a piano on her, like on the cartoons ....
its normal really, maybe get some woodn sticks for it to chew on, but its normal for hamsters and gerbils
