Can a russain dwarf live with another russain dwarf?

can two female dwarf hamster that are russains live together because i wont another hamster and i was wondering if they could live together
If they are bought together, from the same cage at the pet store, then yes. Even then, they may get aggressive/territorial as they age.
dwarf hamsters can live in groups through they are territorial and aggressive. So what you could do is get two cages set them next to eachoth about half an inch apart on one of the caged walls so they can see and smell eachother, then occasionally switch them so they are living in eachothers houses and get use to eachothers smell. After a while have a neutral area, a plastic bin with bedding in the bottom that they cant jump out of, and put treats and such in there for them then put them together. Make sure its clean bedding so they know its a neutral area. if they get along then do this once a day for about a week or so until you think they'll be okay in the same cage.

If they get in a fight dont try to stick your hand between them, use a squirt bottle with water and a wood spoon or something to seperate them. They will have to work out who's dominant so there will be fights so only seperate if you think its getting too violent. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

Note: Some hamsters will do better alone so they could never get along, dont push it if it seems that they wont tolerate eachother.
If it is a large enough cage ten yes they can get along just keep an eye on them. they may get territorial but that should be fine.
