ASAP-Cleaning a rat cage?

I cleaned my rat cage this afternoon and it's still drying. I was told to clean with bleach, rinse, then air dry and rinse again. The sun is setting so the cage definitely wont have time to air dry before I have to bring it inside . Would I be safe rinsing it again thoroughly and drying it with a towel? If not, what should I do?
I assume that the air dry instructions are to give any remaining chlorine time to evaporate. I'm sure it will be fine to towel dry so long as you thoroughly rinsed the cage and can dry all the nooks and crannies (wire cages can be difficult to hand dry). If not then get out the trusty hair dryer for an improvised air dry.
next time just use hot water, the bleach will irritate the rats noses. For now towel dry it and see if theres still a heavy chemical smell. If there is you can use a hair dryer to try and dry out the smell some.

Try not to use chemicals when cleaning rodent cages unless its like really disgusting, even then boiled water could do the same job. And sun drying to get it bone dry and clean.
That would be fine. The only reason to put it out is so that the bleach smell will dissipate some, and not make your rats sick. If it's been out all day, some of the fumes will be gone, and if just rinse and towel dry, it will be fine for your rats.
I use vinegar and water
if its plastic its fine. i always dried mine with a towel ... no problem in doing so.
yeah that would work
