I left for wal-mart and when i got back my hamster cage was knocked over and he was gone! Also, my cat is acting weird. Do you think maybe my cat knows what happened? Is there a way to know? Help! 1
Your hamster raped your cat before it ran away. You should probably take your cat to a therapist. Also, you should tell the cops, so they can find the hamster, and arrest it.
Maybe the cat knocked over the cage and the hamster got out. Like Morgan M said, check in your cats poop for bones. I hope you don't find anything there.
If you don't, he escaped. Here's what you do to catch him. First, put a ten gallon tank in a dark room with boxes leading up to the tank. Make sure that the lights are out in the room because they feel more comfortable when it's dark. Put the treats on the steps leading up to the tank, and three in the tank. He will smell the treats and follow them, getting stuck in the tank. Check in the room once or twice a day. If you wan't more information, here's a YouTube video where I got the information

Check behind big things. Also put food out in the open floor and your hamster will come out of its hiding place and eat the food. Your cat either ate it or senses that it's there.
When the cat goes and poops. Check the poop for bones. I know that its gross but if you wanna know check that. Same with puke. And keep looking for the hamster.
if your cat lives inside your home chances are he didn 't eat the hamster, he probably killed it but didn't eat it! but then again hamsters fit in just about any little crack or hole around there so ........... hope you find it
