Because pouched rats are basically wild they can be hard to tame, need huge cages and alot more care than normal rats. Fancy rats are much easier to tame and alot easier to look after
I would get a normal rat but i dont think theres much of a difference. It's up to you. Do your research and have fun with your new pet.
