Ok so as some of you may know, I just got my first syrian hamster yesterday and she is adorable!! Anyway, the wheel that i got for her aquarium is called a comfort wheel from Super pet. It isn't exactly the most silent either. I have no problem ordering one online but i want to make sure it's worth it. I will only consider wheels that are at least 8 inches in diameter. Sadly the Silent Spinner only goes up to 6.5 so it's out of the question. I appreciate all your help=D
The Wodent Wheel, hands down. It is the only one approved by the ASPCA. My mice and our hamster love them. I have had to put vegetable oil in the center twice, though, but considering I have had them at least six months, and also wash them every single day, that is not bad. Just push down gently on the center, and add a drop or two with an eye dropper. I got the JR from the following place, but unfortunately they are sold out of them at the moment, but they do have the middle sized one. They are the cheapest place that I had found. I do see them other places for $ 3 more, so if you cannot wait until they restock if you want the JR, you can get one just about anywhere else. The link where I got ours is as follows:

Until you get another wheel, just add some vegetable oil to the center of the Comfort Wheel with an eye dropper. Give it a spin or two to work it through, and wipe the excess.
None all the wheels i have had all squeaked.loud. i prefer to put my hamster, rat, mice in one of those balls that you put them in and let them roll around in the house.
