The female was squeaking, and the male was humping her sides, and occasionally her head. I'm not sure if he did actually manage to do it properly in those few 5-10 minutes. But, when will he learn how to do it , will he eventually mate properly.
He'll learn quite soon. Then he'll start to mate with her properly. She was probably squeaking for she was in distress.
