I have an ADORABLE syrian hamster living in a 15 gallon tank, and there's no top to it! Sooo ... He's been able to escape a lot and I have no idea how, but I put his cage in the bathtub so when he escapes he's now stuck in the bathtub. But it gets awfully annoying to clean his poop and pee from the bathtub:/
So I've been searching for a wire mesh top or something like that for his cage, but all I've seen are toppers to 10 gallon tanks! D:
Please help!
Glass tanks are not recommended for any animal except reptiles .. rodents must have appropriate cages.
Tanks have poor air circulation especially with the meshed tops and can collect humidity, causing ammonia to develop.
Invest your money in a cute hamster cage, please. You won't have to worry about it getting out of one of those because that's why they're called hamster cages ...

It's hard to find tank toppers for specific size cages, but if u are willing to buy a completely new cage with a topper, then this one is perfect for a syrian hamster: P. ..
