Im getting two rats pretty soon but when i go online to look for cheap rat cages they come out really expensive. I want a two story (or 3) rat cage with small wiring, and nonchewable plastic bottoms with latches .. if anybody can help me PLEASE do so bcuz i really need to find a cage DX
Rat cages aren't cheap because they need a lot of room and can slip through almost anything. They can also chew through a lot of things, so a metal pan is a much safer bet to make. Are you handy enough to make your own cage?

Go to " ; cageworld.com ". That's where I buy my cages. They are the cheapest ones that I could find and they are good cages. If you can't buy one online then I would suggest looking in your local paper for a used one or ask around. Pet stores are OUTRAGEOUS! You could also try EBAY.
