How can I make my mice less smelly?

I have two girl mice. I use Soft Sorbent bedding and I clean there cage every 3 days. I dont know why they smell so much.
The wheel is a major attractor of smell. Clean them every day in unscented dish soap, and it will make a noticeable difference. I let them soak, and then rinse thoroughly. Spot clean every night to remove the tinkle/poo from the house. It will cut down on the smell, also, and then you will not need to do a complete cleaning so often. I only need to do it once a week, so it does help to do these two things. For more ideas, please see the following link:

Air fresheners and so forth are harmful to the mice. They have such a delicate respiratory system, that the smells will bother them. It is good you asked, as it shows your concern is for them first, before the smell. All the best to you and your mice.

(If you have any plastic tubes for them to crawl around in, wash those every day, too. It is another problem source. I do not have any at the moment, so forgot to mention it above.)
I have had 3 girl rats at once and I agree, they are smelly. The problem is usually not changing the bedding, but you seem to be doing a pretty good job of it. I'm not sure if the type of bedding makes a difference, so if you want them to be "less smelly" you just have to change the bedding more often, which can be a pain. Otherwise, turn on the fan, and if it doesnt bother the mice then use febreez or something. You'll get used to it over time.
Air fresheners wont be good for them, and will only camouflage the smell. I suggest changing their food; if they smell it could be that their food doesn't suit them. Many years ago I looked after mice from school, and when we changed their food there was no smell at all, but the food they were getting did make them smell.
salt .... simple ... not directly on it ... but sprinkle it around where it lives ... it will help a little .. it will suck the smel and carbondioxide ..... but not too much ... just check a little bit, if there is no reaction then go on. ..
