I have 2 piggies and my mom thinks that if we have either pellets, we don't need hay.
If we have hay we don't need pellets.
This entire week they haven't gotten pellets because my mom wont take me to the
pet store and neither will my dad.
Also If we have lettuce we don't need hay or pellets and that's just ridiculous.
I want my piggies to have the vitamin C all the time.
Sometimes I wanna buy a treat or a cozy cuddle cup or some new fleece but of course
no either she can't waste her money on that right now or that they don't need it.
PLEASE HELP ME!
Go to different websites, pull up the FACTUAL information, print it out, hand it to your parents and tell them by not feeding your cavies correctly you are slowly killing them, the proof is there, they need an adequate diet or they will not survive long term. It's like you being given just bread, it's a very inadequate diet, sure it'll sustain you short term, but without the nutrients you NEED you'll die ultimately, and it isn't the most fun way to go as far as I have seen, since they starve to death and get VERY VERY sick, and honestly after a certain point they should get put to sleep so they don't suffer do your parents want to really pay a vet THAT much money for something they could have not done by getting them the right food?

okay, your piggy really need a bit of everything. Its like you, only eating the same kind of food all of the time, they need a bit of variety. Plus, the pellets and hay are good for them, and lettuce is good for every once in a while treats:)
Maybe, you could save up your money? Pet ood isnt very expensive, especially if you buy it from a feed store (the food is fresher and is cheap) using only part of your allowance.Your pet deserves the best!:)

My guinnie pig NEVER had hay .....
and usually I always just gave her fruit and lettuce ..... she would just dump her pellet bowl over.
she was perfectly healthy.
people basically give animals treats for their own satisfaction. In all reality, that dog is going to be PERFECTLY fine without that bone or begging strip. Trust me.

you don't need to spend so much money on them, and I think you should be more respectful of these hard times. Maybe they honestly just don't have the money. When you get a job, you can buy them as many treats as you want.
